Updated July 2007 July
14, 2007 – With Return
of the Guardian-King released and the Legends of the Guardian King series brought to an end, I am
now working on a new book. It’s a stand-alone, more like Arena than Guardian-King and right
now I’m calling it Black Box. Here’s my blurb: When Lacey McHenry accepts a prestigious research fellowship
at the world-renowned Kendell-Jakes Longevity Institute, she sees it as a new
start on a life shattered by an abusive, now-ended marriage. But when a disturbing late night encounter
with a psychopathic intruder leads to an unexpected cover-up by Institute
authorities, she soon finds herself in over her head, a lone mouse in an
elaborate game of deception and seduction whose purpose she cannot begin to
guess. Set in bizarre world that is part of our own, yet
separate from it, Black Box uses cults, cloning, ancient civilizations,
aliens, and the nature of perception and deceit to explore the greatest
mystery of all – human volition. The first draft is due the end of January 08, so
it should be out that same year sometime. I'm guessing summer. For more, see my blog entries
on the subject HERE. April
5, 2007 – Return of the Guardian-King has

far readers are pleased. You can order it from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Christianbook.com or Bethany House. And April 16 – 18 the Christian Science

11, 2007 - I’ve turned in the revised galleys of Return of the Guardian-King, and they’ve gone to typesetting. The book is set
to release on April 1, 2007 (or before... or after...) and the first review is
already out at Infuze Magazine July
8, 2006 – 2006
Christy Awards Banquet, July 7, 2006 – I completed the first
draft of Return of the Guardian King and delivered it to my editor. May 2006 – Inauguration of my first ever fan forum, very graciously set up for me by reader Riley T. to enable fans to gather together and share their thoughts and opinions about my books. I will be making occasional visits to chat with readers as well. Please take the time to pop on over to Kiriathan and King to say hello, offer your comments in response to one of the discussion questions or to others’ posts. Riley’s done a beautiful job on it. April
2006 – Received
the happy news that Shadow Over Kiriath is a finalist in the Visionary Category
of the 2006 Christy Awards. Winners will be announced at the Christy Awards
Banquet in March
2006 – The name
of the fourth and final book in the Legends of the Guardian-King
series has finally been decided and finalized (you may have seen it here
listed as Light out of Shadow). It will henceforth be called Return
of the Guardian-King. I’ve also turned in descriptive information for
the artist’s use in designing the cover. February
2006 – I started
my weblog,
a writing diary chronicling the process of writing the fourth and final book
in the Guardian King series. You can access that here. |
