Call upon me and I will answer thee and show thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not. Jeremiah 33:3

For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you. Jeremiah 29:11

The LORD God will help me; therefore, shall I not be confounded. Therefore, have I set my face like a flint and I know I shall not be ashamed. Isaiah 50:7

The king's (editor's) heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it wherever He wishes.

 Proverbs 21:1

If there is any man who respects the Lord, he shall be shown the path he should choose. Psalm 25:12

Thus says the Lord, cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh (people, self) his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord. For he will be like a tumbleweed in the desert, and will not see prosperity when it comes, but will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, a land of salt without inhabitant (no capacity.) Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, for he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat (testing, adversity) comes; but its leaves will be green and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit. Jeremiah 17:5-8

Ah, Lord God! Behold, Thou hast made the heavens and the earth by Thy great power and by Thine outstretched arm. Nothing is too difficult for thee. Jeremiah 32:17

Thus says the Lord, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not a mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts, boast of this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who exercises grace, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things," declares the Lord. Jeremiah 9:23,24

Do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God: I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive me: you will stretch forth your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand shall save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me: thy mercy, O Lord endures forever. Psalm 138: 7,8

And the Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in scorched places, and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water whose waters fail not. Isaish 58:11

For am I now seeking the favor of men or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ. Galatians 1:10

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. Psalm 143:8

For the Lord is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory. No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. Psalm 84:11

I waited patiently for the Lord; He turned to me and heard my cry. Psalm 40:1

Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalm 27:14

Except the Lord guard the house, the watchman stays awake in vain; except the Lord build the city (career) the builders work in vain.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

My soul, wait only upon God; for my expectation is from Him. Psalm 62:5
